I wrote a book on creativity, Pep Talks for Writers: 52 Insights and Actions to Boost Your Creative Mojo, and co-authored a writing book for teens, Brave the Page. My essays on creative writing have appeared in The New York Times, Poets & Writers, LitHub, Writer’s Digest, and The Writer.

I’ve also published my own fiction, including:

I like talking about the creative life as well. I co-host of the podcast Write-minded.
