Thanks for this. I spent the last 15 years of my working life micro-managing every moment and since leaving that world, I’ve done everything in my power not to time manage my moments. I’m going to give further thought to how I can apply this to my writing - I only know that when the story is heartfelt, moments writing are never about time or word count - they are indeed depth and flow and absolute enjoyment. Thanks again.

A wonderful view of time. Thank you. I also wrote about time a few days ago after another author I read had spoken of “wasting time”.

I don’t believe wasting time is a concept I ever want to internalize.

There's a good article to write: just what is "wasting time"?

I love this reframing, from managing time to inhabiting it, where presence returns, depth gathers, and meaning rises on its own. If only we could learn to see time this way. Thank you, Grant.

"What is one thing that you could decide not to do in order to make time for your writing" I'd rather not have to do all the things an agent, editor, cover artist, publisher, distributor, and book seller has to do. But without these people, that's what I'm stuck with.
